Water is a critical component of hydraulic fracking operations, with between two and eight million gallons required for each well drilled. Timely delivery of large volumes of water to the drill site is paramount to keeping a frack program on schedule and on budget. Enservco launched its water transfer business in 2016 and we have enjoyed steady growth in demand and new customer wins ever since. The key to our success is custom designing transfer projects that meet each customer’s unique program requirements and deliver uninterrupted flow of water for the life of the frack. Our rapid deployment systems include miles of no-leak, lay-flat hose and aluminum pipe and high-capacity pumps that deliver up to 120 barrels of water per minute. These systems have economic, safety and environmental advantages over the labor-intensive alternative of trucking water. Our programs are directed by experienced operators who manage all aspects of the transfer process, including sourcing, permitting and precise management of flow rates. We frequently bundle water transfer with our frac water heating service for customers seeking cost and procurement efficiencies.
